My Favorite Friendship

I feel as though I've learned a lot about how to be a friend from the television and movies I watch.  Let's see; there's the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Sex and the City, Gossip Girl, and Friends of course. But if were talking about my all time favorite it would of shizzle be Christina and Meredith's from Grey's Anatomy.  I remember first watching it in seventh grade and Meredith said to Christina, "I'm your person." Their 'do anything for each other' type of friendship was always something that has stuck with me.  The freakin' brill Shonda Rhimes said that their friendship was the real romance of the show.  Now I'm not exactly sure what she meant by that but I think i kind of get it.  They love each other unconditionally.  I love the idea that a friendship doesn't have to end.  In high school so many girls are best friends one day and strangers the next.  I always found this to be super weird.  Anyway, I just adore and admire this friendship whole-heartedly.  They're never mean to each other, they're always there for each other, and they'll pounce on anyone in a second if they say anything remotely bad about their person.  Okay, I think I'm gonna go watch some Grey's. Over and out from disney's secret lab.
