Under the Tuscan Sun is one of those movies that I just adore; where a woman (preferably stunning) goes to a new place, and finds what she's always been searching for. The ageless Diane Lane is Frances, a Lit professor from San Fran, that has just gone through a rip-your-heart-out-and-stomp-all-over-it kind of divorce. Her lesbian best friend, played by one of my faves, Sandra Oh, offers her a trip to Tuscany, telling Frances that she is at a point where she is at a crossroads in her life where she might never get over it and be happy again. Finally convinced by the depressing sobs of her neighbor, she is off to Italy! There she spontaneously buys a gorgeous old villa when she decides she can't go back to SF, and the rest is history. In Italy she moves on by making love with a beautiful Italian man named Marcello, bonding with the people fixing up her new house, and slowly learning to be happy alone. I mean if you don't wanna feel great, don't watch this movie. The scenery is something out of a painting it is so impossibly beautiful, with carpets of sunflowers that stretch for miles and hills that seem to never end. Under the Tuscan Sun, is simply marvelous, which is a word I try to avoid because it makes me sound like my grandmother, but it feels so necessary here.

MY JAMS
1. Anything Could Happen by Ellie Goulding. This song came into my lyfe very recently and this is how I stumbled upon it. I was watching the GIRLS season 2 trailer (bitchin' show) and this song is in it. And the rest was history. It gives me such good vibes. Ellie Goulding's voice is great and this song can be kinda chill but can also really pump you up for a night out. Every time I listen to it (which has been a lot lately) I feel super happy.
2. Feel So Close by Calvin Harris. This song reminds me of a scene from The Vampire Diaries where Elena and Damon are dirty dancing at this frat party. Anyway, I just really like it and it makes me wanna dance with a fella (preferably Ian Somerhalder).
3. Bad Girls by M.I.A. This song is so fun. It makes me feel like a badass gangsta chick.
4. 22 by Taylor Swift. This is the perfect song to listen to when you're getting ready to go out with your main chickies. It's so upbeat and makes you feel like you're going out with tay swifty.
5. Dancing On My Own by Robyn. If you watch GIRLS (you should be), you should definitely know this song. It's from a scene where Hanna and Marnie are just having a random dance party. I just love it so much.
All these songs are sure to put you in a party mood.

Reasons I'm Mildly Obsessed with Amanda Seyfried
When I was writing my post about my adoration for Anne Hathaway, it made me think of another lady I love. Amanda Seyfried has been a favorite actress and all around person of mine for years now. The following are reasons why she is one of my main girl crushes.
1. She is eye candy. Her hair is too legit to quit and her face is simply stunning. Those lips?! Although she is arguably one of the most beautiful young starlets right now, she definitely doesn't know it.
2. Bitch be funnny. I've seen numerous interviews where she is subtly hilarious. She has a dirty mind and seems like kind of a nut. I would totes wanna be friends with her.
3. She takes risks with her movie roles. She played a sexually ambivalent high class call girl in Chloe where she gets sexy with Julianne Moore. She's also playing porn star Linda Lovelace in the upcoming film Lovelace. And while she plays these salacious roles, she couldn't be any more adorable in one of my favorites Mamma Mia. And then of course she got her start in possibly the most quotable movie ever, Mean Girls.
4. She says whats on her mind in interviews. She always speaks pretty candidly about her relationships and her feelings, and I really like that about her. She has most notably been linked to her Mamma Mia costar Dominic Cooper and the hunky Ryan Phillippe.
5. She lives with her gay best friend like Will and Grace. Nuff said.
All in all, she's a bad bitch and I would like to have a threesome with her and Justin Timberlake.

Anne Hathaway, My Queen
I dub it safe to say that Anne Hathaway has graduated from being Princess of Genovia to a full fledged movie queen. Anne Hathaway (affectionately called Annie by friends) made her start as the adorable and super dorky Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries. God, I love that last name. But that was back in 2001 babies, basically ages ago. She then went on to playing some more serious roles such as Brokeback Mountain. But I don't think anyone was focused on her when there were two sexy actors simulating gay sex on screen. Sorry Anne. Then who could forget The Devil Wears Prada, a cult classic. One I could definitely watch a hundred times. Anyway, her diverse resume also includes Rachael Getting Married, Alice in Wonderland, Love and Other Drugs, Valentine's Day, and The Dark Knight Rises. And of course, she most recently starred in, and won best actress for, the famous musical Les Miserables. She even had to chop off her luxurious chocolate locks and lose twenty pounds for the role. That is what I call commitment to the craft, and kind of crazy. All in all, I love Anne Hathaway. She is truly talented woman that I admire. I also love seeing how happy she is with her new husband right now. Lately, she has been simply glowing. She is a class act with a fun-loving spirit and she is on top of the world at the moment.
